Haters Gonna Hate

For those of you who haven’t heard or read yet, Brady Quinn had many…interesting things to saw about Tim in his recent interview with GQ.  He basically says that the Broncos success this year was based on “luck” and the Broncos team made Tebow look like a much better player than he actually is. I find this very funny coming for a 2nd string QB who couldn’t even start for The Browns… THE BROWNS, people. I mean, seriously fella? I think the comment he made that irked me the most was this:

(Talking about Tim kneeling to pray on the field)

“If you look at it as a whole,” he tells Silver, “there’s a lot of things that just don’t seem very humble to me. When I get that opportunity, I’ll continue to lead not necessarily by trying to get in front of the camera and praying but by praying with my teammates, you know?”

That’s right, Quinn. Tebow locates the photographers on the field and kneels down in front of them just for show. Obviously he is only at the games for publicity and not to play football. Nope…taking a knee, bowing his head, and closing his eyes to pray to his Savior is definitely showing arrogance and certainly not humility.  And as for praying with his teammates… Tim doesn’t already get enough crap for declaring his beliefs off the field, so let’s recruit the entire Broncos team to pray to a God they may or may not believe in. I’m sure the media wouldn’t find that to be the least bit demeaning to other religions or give Tebow any grief for “forcing his beliefs on the entire Broncos organization.”

YOO.IS.STOOPID.

That’s just my personal opinion. It really irritates me when the media misconstrues things that Tim may say or do, but his own teammate? I’m honestly appalled.

You can read the rest of Quinn’s bullcrap here.
